NCL’s Travel Protection Program
Your plans may change or there may be an emergency that keeps you from your cruise. If you don’t sail all your money is gone.
Travel Insurance protects your vacation investment. Travel insurance will totally reimburse you if you are unable to take a cruise because of an emergency. It may provide partial reimbursement for other reasons.
Union Plus strongly recommends purchasing insurance when booking a cruise. Ask your reservation or travel agent about the details.

Why Cruise with NCL?
Did you know that NCL is union-backed? NCL America operates the only deep-sea, US-flagged cruise ship in the industry. Pride of America employ unionized workers. Shipboard personnel are represented by Seafarers International Union (SIU), Marine Engineers (MEBA) and Seafarers Entertainment (SEATU) unions.
How about a Hawaii Cruise?
NCL America (NCLA) is the only cruise line that can offer you inter-island Hawaii cruises, that's because NCLA has the only US flagged ship. You can visit all four Hawaiian Islands in seven days, 10- or 11-days...whatever suits your schedule. And with NCLA, you'll have more time in port, too, so you'll have plenty of time to explore paradise.
Extend your vacation by adding a pre- or post-hotel stay in Hawaii or cruise our exotic Hawaii itineraries that include a stop at beautiful Fanning Island.
The Caribbean's Calling!
Union members will love all the choices you've got when sailing to the Caribbean with NCL in 2007 and 2008. NCL offers more cruise choices than any other cruise line with ships sailing year-round to the Caribbean from New York and four big, modern cruise ships sailing all over the Caribbean from Miami. Here's some of the exciting cruises you can choose from:
- Sail roundtrip from Miami for anywhere from 5 to 12 days to the Eastern, Southern, or Western Caribbean.
- Sail roundtrip from New York for 6 to 12 days and choose from a cruise to the Bahamas & Florida, Eastern Caribbean, Bermuda & the Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean, or Bermuda & Bahamas.
Where in the world do you want to cruise?
From Bermuda and the Caribbean to Alaska and the Hawaiian Islands, NCL can take you there. Maybe you'd prefer a cruise in Europe, South America, Canada and New England or the Mexican Riviera. NCL has 11 convenient departure cities in the US and Canada, so hopping on a cruise is easier than you think.
NCL is All About Freestyle Cruising®
A little thing like having a set dinner time can send a ripple through your whole day. That's why NCL invented Freestyle Cruising, a revolutionary concept where you can eat when you're hungry at your choice of up to 14 different onboard restaurants. And it's more than just Freestyle Dining:
- Freestyle Activities: there are lots of activities you can enjoy, like bowling at the first ever bowling alley at sea, indulging in spa treatments, trying any of NCL's Shore Excursions, testing your luck in the casino - or just sit back and relax - it's completely up to you.
- Freestyle Accommodations: If you want to take the whole family along with you, NCL offers plenty of connecting staterooms, as well as the exclusive Garden Villas - the largest, most opulent accommodations afloat.
- Freestyle Attire: dress up or dress down, it's completely up to you.
- Freestyle Disembarkation: no need to herd off the ship first thing in the morning. Relax, have breakfast, hit the gym. NCL has streamlined the process so you don't have to rush.
And remember, Freestyle Cruising is available exclusively with NCL.
